Sometimes those experiences are empowering and positive, and sometimes childhood disconnections or traumatic events can lead to feelings of overwhelm, depression anxiety, and a sense of inadequacy and disconnection. We each have all we need to heal and reconnect with ourselves and others. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 7 years of experience supporting adults who have experienced trauma, including sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse.
